I was skeptical at first when trying cauliflower crusted pizza. I was so wrong about cauliflower pizza. I love it! I decided to review a few different frozen cauliflower crust pizzas.

Trader Joe’s Gluten-Free Cheese Pizza with a Cauliflower Crust, $4.99. Their pizza is a traditional tomato-based sauce and a blend of gluten-free cheese, mozzarella, and provolone. This pizza is an easy dinner option for anyone, whether you’re a gluten-free eater or not.
Directions: Bake it in a 425ºF oven for 10-12 minutes, and enjoy the savory flavor. Add your favorite toppings to give yourself a fancy version of this gluten-free cheese pizza.
Verdict – Trader Joe’s Gluten-Free Cheese Pizza with a Cauliflower Crust is a good value at $4.99. However, I found it hard to get banking time just right. It could just be my oven or the directions are not right. I feel cooking for 15 is personally better. I give them a 3.5 out of 5!

Whole Foods 365 Everyday Value – Cauliflower Crust Cheese. Their pizza is made with cauliflower puree, mozzarella cheese, and cage-free egg whites. This pizza is an easy dinner option for anyone, whether you’re a gluten-free eater or not.

Verdict – Whole Foods 365 Everyday Value – Cauliflower Crust Cheese is a couple more dollars than Trader’s Joe at $6.99. The banking time wasn’t correct for me. II had to bake for at least five more minutes. The sauce was tangy and not to my liking. I give them a 3 out of 5!

Caulipower Margherita Cauliflower Crust Pizza. It’s their take on the classic margherita pizza. It has frozen diced vine-ripened tomatoes, a generous helping of mozzarella & parmesan cheese top on the cauliflower pizza crust.

Verdict –Caulipower Margherita Cauliflower Crust Pizza. They are a couple more dollars than Trader’s Joe at $6.89. The banking time was right, but I like my cauliflower pizza a little more crusty-cracker-like. I decided to bake for 15 minutes. I like it had more flavor due to the spices and the frozen tomatoes and basil. I give them a 4 out of 5!

California Pizza Kitchen Frozen Cauliflower Artisanal Style Cheese. Their gluten-free, full-of-flavor cauliflower crispy thin crust pizza topped with Ricotta, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Asiago, and Romano cheeses.
Directions: Preheat oven to 375 Degrees. Remove crust from the film wrap and place it on the middle rack. Bake for 14 minutes or until the crust is fully cooked.
Verdict – California Pizza Kitchen Frozen Cauliflower Artisanal Style Cheese is by far my favorite cauliflower crust pizza! It’s because the real cheese makes a difference. I’m not vegan or on a gluten-free diet. A great value at$7 (can be less depending on which store). I give them a 5 out of 5!

Newman’s Own Thin and Crispy Cauliflower Crust Margarita Pizza. Their gluten-free thin & crispy pizza made with 100% whole milk mozzarella.
Directions: Preheat oven at 425 degrees. Place pizza directly on the oven rack. For best results, do not bake pizza on a cookie sheet. Bake 12-13 minutes.
Verdict – Newman’s Own Thin and Crispy Cauliflower Crust Margarita Pizza is really good, I enjoyed the favor of their spices and diced tomato. The price will vary depending on the store, I paid 7.99. I give them a 4.5 out of 5!
Final thoughts I like cauliflower pizza because it’s a thin crust and doesn’t taste like pizza. For me, it is not a replacement but a change of pace. Out of all the cauliflower crust pizzas, I tired my favorite was California Pizza Kitchen Frozen Cauliflower Artisanal Style Cheese. I did put crushed red peppers, fresh arugula, and honey! Honey is my favorite condiment to put on pizza, trust me. 🙂
