Rosé All Day

I am a huge fan of rosé, especially on hot summer day.  Here are a few of my go-to rosé for summer.

Vintjs Pinot Noir Rosé Monterey

drank_VINTJS_Rose_JulieShowers_4332Vintjs is such a great buy at Trader Jo, $9.99. This rosé is a deep pink, dry wine, with aromas and flavors of fresh raspberries and strawberries, a rich mouth feel and a clean, and elegant finish rosé. Best paried with grilled salmon or roast chicken, a frittata, and eggplant.

J.L. Quinson Côtes de Provence Rosé

96769-quinson-cotes-de-provence-roseCôtes de Provence Rosé is another brand I usually buy at Trader Jo, $7.99. I like my rosé dry and this wine is consistently dry but offers a muted acidity and bright berry notes; even hints of melon and rose petals. Best paried with grilled chicken, pork, and shellfish.

Jacoulet Parallèle 45 Rosé

PARALEL45_ROSEThis wine is sometimes available at Trader Jo, and the price is around $17.99. A fresh and mineral driven rosé with floral notes of wild berries, white pepper, and cherries. Best paired with salads, goat’s cheese, and grilled vegetables.

La Vieille Ferme Rosé

_la_vieille_ferme_rosé_2015_vdf_14539.jpgLa Vieille Ferme a such a light and cheap rosé when I am not in the mood for a full body rosé, and I just want something light to sip on. You can find this brand at most grocery stores and it is usually on sale, $7.99. I usually don’t pair with anything but drink it alone but you can pair it with fish, pork, and mussles.

Charles Smith ViNO Rosé

vino-roseI have to say I first picked this wine cause I like the bottle, but ViNO is such a light and easy going dry rosé that offers an aromas of rose petals, camellias, tangerine, marjoram, wetstone and cut hay. Best paried with meat and oily fish. Price ranges from $11-13.

OhJC-F8PLastly, I love this fun brand, Yes Way Rosé. They have fun tees, totes, hats, and other accesssories that will help you showcase your love for rosé. Follow them here @yeswayrose. (cover photo courtesy of Yes Way Rosé)
